If you are using the Service on behalf of a minor (such as registering a child for a league), you represent that you are the child's parent or legal guardian and consent to these terms on their behalf.

2. Description of Service

GamePlan HQ is a youth sports league management platform that enables league administrators, coaches, and caregivers to manage leagues, teams, players, schedules, communications, and registrations. The Service is available through a web application and a mobile application.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information during registration
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Promptly update your information if it changes
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

Accounts may be created by league administrators on behalf of caregivers and coaches as part of the league registration process.

4. User Roles and Responsibilities

League Administrators

League administrators are responsible for managing their league's operations, including player registrations, team assignments, scheduling, and ensuring appropriate use of the platform within their organization.

Coaches

Coaches are responsible for communicating appropriately with team members and caregivers through the platform's messaging features.

Caregivers

Caregivers (parents and guardians) are responsible for providing accurate information about their children and for monitoring communications related to their child's participation.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Send harassing, threatening, or inappropriate messages
• Share another user's personal information without their consent
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
• Upload malicious content or interfere with the Service's operation
• Use the messaging features for commercial solicitation or spam
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

6. Communications

The Service includes messaging features (team chat, league chat, and direct messages) to facilitate communication between users involved in the same league or team. By using these features, you acknowledge that:

• Messages may be visible to other members of the same team or league
• League administrators may have access to communications within their league
• You are responsible for the content of your messages
• We may send you transactional emails and push notifications related to your account and league activities

7. Payments and Registrations

Certain leagues may require registration fees, which are processed through our third-party payment provider, Stripe. By submitting a payment, you agree to:

• Provide accurate payment information
• Pay all fees associated with registrations you submit
• Stripe's terms of service for payment processing

Refund policies are determined by individual league administrators. Please contact your league administrator directly for refund requests.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content (excluding user-generated content), is owned by GamePlan HQ and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without our prior written consent.

You retain ownership of any content you submit through the Service (such as messages and profile information). By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to use, display, and transmit that content as necessary to operate the Service.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. We are not responsible for the accuracy of information entered by users, including league schedules, locations, or team assignments.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GamePlan HQ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claims arising under these terms shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GamePlan HQ from any claims, losses, or damages (including attorney's fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for any reason, including violation of these terms. You may also delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, though certain provisions of these terms will survive termination.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms of Use at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting updated terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
